The picture on here is old the front is now all under cover. This is the 3rd best restaurant in sorrento apparently. We stayed in the hotel right opposite so were lucky enough to eat here twice its great value for money cheaper than other restaurants we dined it. Be aware thought from about 6pm onwards there is a constant queue of people till 10 pm waiting for a table it never seems to go down either as it's that popular.

We visited La Cantinaccia del Popolo in Sorrento after finding it on TripAdvisor, and we were excited to try it. We had to wait in line for two hours to get in, but I can say it was worth it. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. However, I wasn’t impressed with their homemade wine, and I know wine very well. Overall, the experience was amazing, and I highly recommend this place!

The octopus spaghetti is fantastic. Price is reasonable considering Sorrento is sort of a popular place for tourists to stay over for exploring the Almafi coast. The restaurant serves free wine and cheese while you’re queuing.

We had a fantastic Italian dinner! We tried spaghetti con polpo and a variety of other pasta dishes, and they were all delicious. The house wine was also very nice. The desserts were amazing. The staff was extremely warm and fast, making the experience even better. A wonderful evening overall!
